“Full of Belief”: Broncos Skipper Adam Reynolds Backs Madge Amid Tough Season
Brisbane Broncos captain Adam Reynolds has thrown his support behind coach Michael Maguire, insisting the team can still turn their season around despite a string of disappointing performances. Speaking at a press conference at Red Hill on Tuesday, Reynolds said the squad remains united and focused. “We’ve had our fair share of setbacks this season, no doubt,” Reynolds admitted. “But bringing in Madge [Maguire] has brought a fresh energy and a clear direction. The boys are buying in, and we’re full of belief that we can bounce back.”
Reynolds praised Maguire’s leadership and discipline, highlighting how the experienced coach has been working hard behind the scenes to instill resilience and accountability within the playing group. “He’s honest with us—no sugar-coating, and that’s what we need. Everyone knows where they stand, and there’s a real intent at training,” Reynolds said. “The results haven’t been what we want, but the belief in what we’re building is stronger than ever.”
The veteran halfback also urged fans to stay patient and keep the faith, stressing that the team’s internal commitment remains rock solid. “We’re not where we want to be, but this is a proud club, and we’re not throwing in the towel. We’ve got the talent and the mindset to climb out of this,” he said. With key players set to return from injury and a renewed sense of purpose, Reynolds believes the Broncos are poised to make a late-season charge.
