Chelsea have confirmed new shirt numbers for the 2025/26 season, with Cole Palmer and Liam Delap receiving iconic jerseys.
Cole Palmer – No. 10
Cole Palmer has been assigned the No. 10 shirt, taking over from Mykhailo Mudryk, who is provisionally suspended due to a failed drugs test. Palmer previously wore No. 20 and had a standout season with 15 goals and 8 assists, earning a nomination for Premier League Player of the Season.
Liam Delap – No. 9
New signing Liam Delap will wear the No. 9 shirt after his £30 million transfer from Ipswich Town. The No. 9 jersey at Chelsea has a challenging history, but Delap aims to make a significant impact.
Both players are expected to feature prominently in Chelsea’s upcoming season, including the FIFA Club World Cup in the U of.S.
