Glad to Have You Back: Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs Celebrate Shocking Return of Top Player From… Read more

When the Bulldogs formally announced the return of club veteran Terry Lamb as a special coaching advisor on May 17, 2025, Belmore was overcome with emotion. Lamb is a hero to the blue-and-white supporters, and his return has rekindled enthusiasm within the club: CEO Aaron Warburton said, “Terry Lamb is not just a Bulldogs legend—he’s part of our DNA.”

Lamb’s legacy is legendary, having played in 350 first-grade games, 262 of which were for Canterbury, and playing a crucial part in the 1988 Premiership. An era was defined by his leadership, perseverance, and grit. As a mentor in Cameron Ciraldo’s developing coaching system, he will now impart that winning mentality to a young team in need of guidance.

“Baa,” standing next to the coach and players, will act as a link between the team’s illustrious history and its aspirational future. More than just technical knowledge, his reappearance boosts spirits and serves as a physical reminder of the Bulldogs’ past and potential.

Lamb’s presence provides potent symbolism for a squad redefining its identity: tradition counts. The Bulldogs are bringing a legend back to his proper home, not merely adding a new coach.
