As they expedite their recoveries from injuries, Alex Moreno and Jacob Ramsey are both a part of the Aston Villa team that has traveled to Poland for the Europa Conference League.

On Thursday night (5:45 p.m. kickoff), Legia Warsaw will host Villa in a matchup. Villa hopes to get off to a good start in their opening game of the competition’s group stage.

Before Unai Emery holds his news conference later today, the team traveled on Wednesday afternoon. Fans will be pleased to see two players in particular who are traveling after the club published videos of the team boarding the aircraft.

Despite neither player having played so far this season owing to injury, Moreno and Ramsey have both been seen boarding the aircraft. After recovering from a hamstring injury suffered in May, Moreno returned to the bench for Saturday’s 3-1 victory against Crystal Palace. As he works to improve his fitness, Moreno might make his season debut against Legia.

Meanwhile, Ramsey has resumed training after missing the summer’s Euros competition with England’s U21 team due to a metatarsal injury. Emery will benefit greatly from the midfielder’s involvement in the traveling party because he was a crucial member of the team last year.

While Ramsey’s return to action on Thursday may be premature as he works to improve his fitness, the fact that he is able to travel is a positive development for Villa. Fans’ excitement on social media has increased as a result of his selection for the traveling team.

One person commented, “Jhon Duran just loving every second of life and Jacob Ramsey being on the plane is just perfect,” and another said, “Ramsey’s going to cook.”
