St. Brown, who was selected by the Detroit Lions in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, turned out to be a stellar choice for the Lions. However, St. Brown recently revealed that he had hoped to be picked up by the Packers.

Expressing his disappointment, St. Brown told ESPN’s Eric Woodyard, “When Day 3 arrived, I was already frustrated. I even confided in my brother [Equanimeous], saying, ‘If there’s one team I don’t want to end up with, it’s the Lions. Please, not the Lions.’ [My brother], who was with the Packers at the time, and I shared the desire to play together.”

Instead of selecting St. Brown, the Packers opted for Amari Rodgers in the third round. Rodgers, a former Clemson receiver, didn’t quite win over the Green Bay crowd, tallying only eight receptions and seven fumbles during his tenure with the team.

Fans are left to ponder what might have been if St. Brown had been chosen over Rodgers.
