DONE DEAL: Packers Sign Six Draft Picks…

The Green Bay Packers are making progress in signing their draft picks. The team announced today that they have signed six rookies:

1. **Round 3, No. 88: MarShawn Lloyd (RB, USC)
2. **Round 3, No. 91 (from Bills): Ty’Ron Hopper (LB, Missouri)
3. **Round 4, No. 111 (from Jets): Evan Williams (S, Oregon)
4. **Round 5, No. 163 (from Bills): Jacob Monk (C, Duke)
5. **Round 5, No. 169: Kitan Oladapo (S, Oregon State)
6. **Round 6, No. 202: Travis Glover (T, Georgia State)

MarShawn Lloyd, the most prominent name among these signings, had an impressive single season at USC, amassing 1,052 yards from scrimmage and scoring nine touchdowns. As the fourth running back selected in the draft, Lloyd is expected to compete with A.J. Dillon for backup duties behind the newly acquired Josh Jacobs.

Ty’Ron Hopper is another significant addition, having had two outstanding seasons at Missouri where he recorded 132 tackles and 5.5 sacks over 23 games. With strong coverage skills from his college days, Hopper is projected to serve as a weakside linebacker behind Quay Walker.

Previously, the Packers signed seventh-round picks Michael Pratt and Kalen King. With these latest signings, the Packers have three remaining unsigned draft picks: first-round offensive tackle Jordan Morgan, second-round linebacker Edgerrin Cooper, and second-round safety Javon Bullard.
