Roman Reigns return advertised for upcoming SmackDown

Roman Reigns hasn’t appeared on television since the SummerSlam aftermath episode of SmackDown, despite Paul Heyman occasionally calling him out on-screen. Jey Uso superkicked Reigns in that episode from August 11 and declared his “quit” on both The Bloodline and the company (one of those declarations persisted; watch Raw any Monday night to find out which).

The Tribal Chief is not promoted for the Fastlane pay-per-view this coming weekend, but according to rumors, on November 4, when WWE returns to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel, he will be defending his championship for the first time since SummerSlam. We therefore anticipated meeting him soon.

It appears that will happen no later than the SmackDown program airing on October 13 based on advertisements from the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma:

Of course, it’s possible that Roman appears at some point before this episode. But he isn’t marketed for either of the SmackDowns preceding it (this Friday in Sacramento, California, or Oct. 6 in St. Louis), in addition to not being taken into account for the arrangements for the high-profile live event on Oct. 7.

When will Reigns return? What do you anticipate his Crown Jewel opponent will be?
